Some neighbours wanted a table last night, without a reservation. We only had sugar cubes and strawberries left ( it was 3am ) but they seemed happy enough with that.
This is our rooster Dalton. Not only does he let us know when it is time to go home in the morning, he also keeps the hens in line so we can have fresh and organic eggs for the restaurant.

Neste uke er det Steinkjer festival, og i den anledning åpner vi muligheten for at festival deltagere kan spise hos oss før det starter i sentrum. Vi åpner for bookinger fra klokken 15.00 alle dagene under festivalen. Merk at dette er kun for vår 7-retter meny og kun ved direkte booking via mail eller telefon.

Today we have put seeds down for the summer vegetables at Ner-Salberg farm. Some seeds like peas, broadbeans and different types of onion was going in the soil today. Being a part of the product from a tiny seed to a ready made dish in the restaurant is an experience in itself and something everyone should be priveliged to do. The self service shop still have Jerusalem Artichokes and some winter cabbage for sale, so dont forget to stop by and get some.
Because of the current SAS strike the restaurant have had a big cancellation and we can take last minute bookings up to 8 people this Saturday 04.05.19.
